Gospel Light Society on Twitter: "Neither is there #salvation in any other: for there is none other name under #heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. - #Acts 4:12 #God #

What you read below may challenge you to have GREAT courage!

You may be the one who needs to share God’s truth with a friend or a loved one.

-OR-

You may be that person who needs to tell YOURSELF the truth…..

“Jesus is the Way, the TRUTH and the Life.  No one comes to the Father but by Him.”  (John 14:6)

I realize that you may be in a position where you are extremely concerned or even terrified about how your family and friends will react if you choose to believe and trust Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone as your only way to salvation.

Maybe you call yourself a Jehovah’s witness.

Maybe you call yourself a Catholic, and you know, and God knows, that you have never surrendered your life to Jesus and Jesus alone as your Savior.

Maybe you call yourself a believer of the New Age.

Maybe you call yourself a Muslim.

Maybe you call yourself a Mormon.

Maybe you call yourself a Buddhist.

Maybe you call yourself a Hindu.

Maybe you call yourself an Atheist.

Maybe you call yourself a Jew.

    Or,

Maybe, like my pre-Jesus life, you don’t call yourself anything since you don’t have any major belief at all.

Regardless of your belief or lack of belief…

I have a question for you…

Have you ever questioned your belief?

I have met some AMAZING people who have had the courage to be honest with me.

I really, really admire these people!!

These authentic people have shared with me that, YES, they have questioned their beliefs.

These honest people have also expressed to me that they feared that it would cause great conflict with their family if they turned away from the family’s faith.

Let me tell you what JESUS said:

“”Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth.  I did not come to bring peace but a sword.  For I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and a man’s enemies will be those of his own household.  He who loves father or mother more that Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who loves son or daughter more that Me is not worthy of Me.  And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.  He who finds his life will lose it and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”  (Matthew 10:3439)

Jesus is not saying that His plan is for us to be enemies with our family members!

NOT AT ALL!

What Jesus IS saying, is that He fully understands that conflict WILL COME in our families (as well as with our friends) when we choose to follow Him.

I remember when I surrendered my life to Jesus as my Savior and Lord.  🙂

Yes, it was an adjustment for my family, but since our family did not have any deep rooted “religious belief,” the adjustment was not severe.

Think about this:

You can talk about “God” relatively freely with people without anyone having too much of a problem.

But what happens when we bring out the name JESUS?

Things change!

You can actually feel a change in the atmosphere.

WHY IS THIS???

Because “God” is a generic term that can literally mean ANYTHING.

Many people mean many things when they say, “God.”

It is non threatening to people.

It doesn’t challenge people.

It doesn’t cause people to examine their lives.

It doesn’t bring people face to face with their sin.

It doesn’t challenge dead religion (rituals, rules and relics.)

“Beware that no one cheats you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world and not according to Christ.”  (Colossians 2:8)

We can have conversations all day long about “God,” and everyone can “get along.”

BECAUSE…

Talking about “God” is not threatening to people NOR is it threatening to the kingdom of darkness!

HOWEVER…

The name of “JESUS” IS threatening to people because He is not a “generic god.”

The name of “JESUS” does challenge people to choose.

The name of “JESUS” does cause people to examine their lives.

The name of “JESUS” does bring people face to face with their sin.

The name of “JESUS” does challenge dead religion.

AND

The name of “JESUS” THREATENS THE KINGDOM OF DARKNESS!!

“The name which is above every name, that at the name of JESUS, EVERY knee will bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of the Father.”  (Philippians 2:9-11)

Satan and his powers of darkness DESPISE the name of JESUS!

“The name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth…There is salvation in no other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”  (Acts 4:10, 12)

When we bring up the name of JESUS, Satan and his powers of darkness want to STOP the conversation!

They KNOW that Jesus “IS” the Way, the Truth, and the Life and that no one can come to the Father, except through HIM!

Satan DOES NOT want people to see and understand God’s Truth!

Satan knows that Jesus IS TRUTH.

Satan knows that if people hear about Jesus, then his lies, which live in darkness, will be exposed by the light of God Almighty’s Truth!

He wants to keep as many people as possible in deception without them even knowing it!

I am needed and YOU are needed to know Jesus so that we can then share Him with our family and friends!

REMEMBER:

This TRULY IS the most CRITICAL TIME IN ALL OF HISTORY.

Drastic times call for drastic measures!

NOW is the time to TRUST JESUS!

“He (Jesus) is called Faithful and True.”  (Revelation 19:11)

~Jesus “IS” the PRINCE OF PEACE~

“And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6),

Jesus is telling us not to look for His peace in external things; not even in our closest friends or family members.

His peace lives “within” us when we accept Him as our Savior and Lord.

His Spirit comes inside of us and gives us His perfect peace.

Image result for peace i leave with you my peace i give to you

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6,7)

So remember, choosing Jesus WILL “stir things up,”and that is a really good thing!

Because… WE ALL NEED JESUS!

~Trust in the Prince of Peace~

To my Jehovah’s Witness friends, I would like to share the beauty of God’s word that teaches us that Jesus Christ IS the one true and living God.

“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder.  And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”  (Revelation 1:8)

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”  (Genesis 1:1)

In the beginning was the Word, and Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.  In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.”  (John 1:1-4)

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”  (John 1: 14)

“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.”  So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying:  “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

Here in Arizona, we have many WONDERFUL people who call themselves Mormons.

I have relatives and friends who are Mormons (LDS).

~I love them!~

We are all the same.

We all need Jesus!

I understand that a Mormon person is likely to experience great rejection from their LDS family and friends if they turn away from their Mormon faith and choose to follow Jesus and Jesus alone.

I cannot begin to image the hold that that would have on a person.

How unbelievably heartbreaking that conditional “love” must feel.

“Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails.”  (1 Corinthians 13:4-8)

I am eternally grateful that God’s love is not conditional!

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is Love.”  (1 John 4:8)

(Sorry for the poor quality of the video below, but the content is worth the watch!)

Although Dave’s wife did not turn to Jesus, I have heard many testimonies where one spouse comes to Jesus and then the other spouse ends up coming to God’s Truth too!

As the Apostle Paul said:

“But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.  Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.”  (Philippians 3:7-9)

Here is a MUST READ book written by Judy Robertson.  Years ago, I had the privilege of meeting Jim and Judy Roberson.  I was involved in their wonderful ministry, Concerned Christians.  Concerned Christians is still in Mesa, AZ.  You can call or go there and know that you will have a loving conversation about the differences between Biblical Christianity and Mormonism.

The LORD GOD tells us in Isaiah 43:10…  “Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me.”

GOD ALMIGHTY was NOT once a man as sincere hearted Mormons are taught.

We cannot and will not attain “godhood” through good works as sincere hearted Mormons are taught.

GOD tells us in Isaiah 43:11:  “I, even I, am the LORD, and besides Me there is no savior.”

“In the beginning was the Word (JESUS) and the Word was with God and the Word was God.”  (John 1:1)

“And the Word (JESUS) became flesh and dwelt among us.”  (John 1:14)

~JESUS “IS” GOD~

“Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”  (Matthew 1:23)

God’s Word (The Bible) does NOT teach us that Jesus and Satan are brothers, as sincere hearted Mormons are taught.

Satan was created by God as an Angel.

“You (Lucifer/Satan) were the anointed cherub (Angel) who covers;  I (God) established you.”  (Ezekiel 28:14)

Satan did not want to be a servant of God, he wanted to BE God.

Because Satan became prideful and wanted to BE God, he was cast out of heaven.

Satan rebelled against God and he wants us to rebel against God too.

Satan’s first lie to mankind (Eve) was, “You will be like God.”  (Genesis 3:5)

Satan is STILL telling this lie!

REMEMBER!!

God’s Word tells us…

Jesus is NOT Satan’s brother!

Jesus is Satan’s CREATOR!

It is CRITICAL that we are believing in THE JESUS OF THE BIBLE and not a false “Jesus.”

Jesus Christ is the ONLY begotten Son of God.  (John 3:16)

Satan desperately wants to keep all of us from God’s Truth!!

Satan knows that his time is short.

Jesus DOES NOT want us to be deceived by Satan!

The videos below present God’s Truth for all of us.

In these videos, God’s Truth is spoken in Love.

Last, but MOST DEFINITELY not least…

To my Jewish friends…

You don’t need to wait or look for your messiah.

Your Messiah already came and He is coming back!!!  🙂

“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed.  And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone.  How can You say, ‘You will be made free?'”  Jesus answered them,  “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.  And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever.  Therefore, if the Son (JESUS) makes you free, you shall be free indeed.  (John 8:31-36)

Jesus died for ~YOU!~

JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH “IS” your Messiah!!

The Greek word “Christ” means ANOINTED.

The Hebrew word “Messiah” means ANOINTED.

~JESUS CHRIST OUR MESSIAH IS THE ANOINTED ONE~

God promises that if we seek Him, we will find Him!

~Seek Him in His Word (The Bible)~
